Welcome to May! We start off celebrating Momma's. Not just any momma's the totally #BadAssMomma You know who you are. The mom's who go the extra mile. You may be a single mom or feel like one most days. I am a divorced single mother [for the majority of my daughter's life], I know the struggle. Balancing work [sometimes 2 jobs], school, after school programs, sacrificing increases in child support to avoid the conflict with "dad', being the only mother with a group of Indian Princess dad's...the list goes on and on.
I want to do something special for a #BadAssMomma so we are hosting a giveaway. Share your story and enter to win a piece of furniture for you [not the kids, this is FOR YOU] We need to lift each other up and hug each other and say " You are AMAZING"
Share your story with us. Tell us what makes you so incredible. Sing your own damn praises, you know why? BECAUSE YOU DESERVE IT! This isn't about what HE did or did not do. This is about YOU #BadAssMomma
So how do you enter? First tell us your story - then pick out a piece of furniture from the list. Do you need a beautiful new headboard? A new glam dresser? Shabby Chic Console Table? Pick the type of furniture you would like and the style you prefer.
The winner will be chosen on Mother's Day - May 13, 2018.
There are a few requirements that you need to be aware of.
by entering the contest you agree that we will share your story [but not your full name!]
You need to be located within 20 miles of our store [or be willing to come pick your item up and transport it home].
You are required to come to the Loverly Cottage and work with Juliet Abeille [owner of Loverly Cottage] to pick your piece from a select group of items [we will post a gallery in one of the updates!]
The contest winner is also required to work with Juliet to pick out the paint and style of the furniture that will be restyled, just for the #BadAssMomma. Please note that we only use Milk Paint or matte finish paint [Fusion Mineral Paint or other matte finish paint] NO Semi-Gloss, NO Gloss, NO Lacquer [we try to be as green as possible and the other finishes are not zero VOC]
Your piece will be take about 4 weeks to complete and delivery must be coordinated to take place before June 30, 2018 or be forfeited.
