Sunday April 22 is Earth Day, but we will be celebrating at Loverly Cottage all weekend.
Saturday at 12:30 bring the kids over to make Wild flower bombs - self-contained Wildflower seed packets that you toss in the yard so that this summer your garden will bloom with beautiful wild flowers carefully selected for our very important pollinators.
Then at 1:30 we will recycle a common household item as seed starters for Butterfly Milkweed. Butterfly Milkweed is so important for the monarch butterfly, in fact it's the only thing the caterpillars eat before the magical transformation.
Loverly Cottage will also serve as Turtle Champion's this weekend as we will be donating a percentage of all sales this weekend to the adopt a turtle program for the recovery of the endangered blanding's turtle.
